Yoga Classes
A ten week session of Relaxation Using Yoga Poses will start on Monday, February 26th at the Tidnish Crossroads Community Centre from 7-8pm and will continue for ten weeks. Sherry and Donna will continue to take turns leading the sessions and covering for each other when the other is away.
As in the past money raised will be split between the Stephen Lewis Foundation to help turn the tide of Aids in Africa (see www.stephenlewisfoundation.org for more information) and the Tidnish Crossroads Community Association.
Suggested donation continues to be $40 for all ten sessions and an income tax receipt for the $20 portion that goes to the SLF will be sent out by that foundation.
These sessions are beginner level and you do not have to have yoga experience to attend. To quote Krishnamacharya, often known as the father of modern yoga, “if you can breathe, you can do yoga”. So just come, do what you can, use a chair if you need to and breathe through the rest! These sessions are about caring for yourself through yoga and relaxation. Namaste.
If you plan on attending please let Donna know by sending an email to fitzmurd@gmail.com. You can also send your $40 donation via e-transfer to the same address. Also, if sessions are cancelled due to weather or because Sherry and Donna are away at the same time then these sessions will be added to the end!

About Us
The TCCA is a non-profit charitable community association established in 1983 to promote the physical and social well-being of residents in the Tidnish area.
We support a number of social, cultural, sporting, and recreational groups. We also have facilities available for use by area residents including the Rodney Estabrook ball field, a children’s playground, a canteen, and the Tidnish Community Centre located at 4358 Highway 366 in Tidnish – near ‘the crossroads’.
Regular activities at the Centre include: exercise classes, yoga, music nights, darts, cribbage, Tai Chi and youth programs. The Tidnish Festival is held each summer; activities include a bake sale, ball games, washer toss, a pork chop barbecue dinner, children’s games, music by local groups, and a Saturday night dance.
