Payment Options Survey Feedback
As promised some feedback on the community centre payment options poll.
"If credit/debit were available would you use it?"
50% said they would always use credit/debit
33% would use it occassionally
17% said they would never use credit/debit
"Would you support a move to cashless operations?"
28% opposed and want to be able to use cash
28% supported cashless operations
44% were indifferent
The most common comment expressed concerns about the TCCA having to pay service charges for credit/debit transactions.
The board discussed the feedback at the last meeting. We will continue to investigate options but this change will not be a priority for us this year.
Thanks to everyone who participated!!

Yoga - Mondays 7 - 8 PM
A new ten week session of Relaxation using Yoga Poses will start on Monday, September 9th at the Tidnish Crossroads Community Centre from 7-8pm and will continue for ten sessions.
Five of these sessions will be before the Thanksgiving weekend, followed by a short break, and then will continue for five weeks after Remembrance Day which is also on a Monday this year.
Sherry Smith and Donna will continue to take turns leading the sessions and covering for each other when the other is away.
As in the past money raised will be split between the Stephen Lewis Foundation to help turn the tide of Aids in Africa (see www.Stephen Lewis foundation.org for more information) and the Tidnish Crossroads Community Association which offers so many wonderful programs in our community.
Suggested donation remains at $40 for all ten sessions and an income tax receipt for the $20 portion that goes to the SLF will be sent out by that organization before year’s end.
These sessions are beginner level and you do not have to have yoga experience to attend. To quote Krishnamacharya, often known as the father of modern yoga, “if you can breathe, you can do yoga”. So just come, do what you can, use a chair if you need to and breathe through the rest! These sessions are about caring for yourself through yoga and relaxation.
If you have any questions, or would like to register, please email Donna at fitzmurd@gmail.com.
Thanks and namaste!
